This lamp is beautiful and light. Pretty easy to assemble. You can place your phone in the center or place a lamp behind your desktop or laptop screen; it goes high enough to glow over my iMac. I didn't see a HUGE difference between the daylight settings, some kind of bluish light, and orange light, but the difference was enough that you can lighten or darken the image in any of these settings. In general I am very satisfied. I used to buy a small light clip and send it back; it detached from my laptop and flew across the room! And I was afraid it would damage my screen. This freestanding unit was a much better solution for me.
