The twin wheels on the back prevent my daughter from moving around efficiently. She has to spread her legs wide so that one foot is on the board and the other is on the ground in order to walk. Other scooters have two wheels in the front and one in the back and seem easier to handle. This one also requires steering and scootering at the same time, which can take some time to coordinate while other scooters make turns by simply leaning right or left. It might be better for younger kids, not sure, but my daughter is tall so I'm buying her a two wheel front tilt model.
