Review on Modway Veer Drafting Stool Chair 49 5H by Shirlene Livingston

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Excellent chair, eco price, comfortable! Great for architecture students

I bought this chair for an architecture studio and have been using it for almost a month and it's a great investment so far. First, as a design student, I like the way it looks. Very suitable for those who appreciate and like design (although I would like to point out that if like me you order a white chair you will get a gray chair which is still very stylish). The armrest can be folded down, which is good when you need to snuggle up to your drafting table or other table without the armrest getting in the way. Speaking of tables, one of the most important features for me is the height of the chair. My desk is about waist high for me (I'm actually about 6ft tall) and the drafting chairs I've used before aren't high enough to sit comfortably over my desk. This chair can be a comfortable height for most tables (unless you have a very high table). And I found a cool thing, the chair can be leaned back. At first I thought it was impossible because when I tried to sit back the chair became hard. Don't worry, but it would still be nice if he could sit back, I thought. However, pulling the lever that raises or lowers the chair "unlocks" the chair's stem, allowing it to recline. and I think the best thing about the chair is its price. A very affordable chair for a student or someone on a budget. I've had co-workers mistakenly assuming I spent over $200 on my chair. However, this chair is not entirely sunny and pink. Although the backrest is designed to have an ergonomic curve for the back, the seat is a bit short. So on a scale of 1 to 5 on the comfort scale I give it a very close 3.5 stars. 4 stars on a good day. but don't get me wrong, because it's worth it, it's still quite comfortable. The leg ring can be adjusted, but adjusting the leg ring when you adjust the height of the chair is inconvenient. Finally, if you're buying a white chair (which is actually gray again), be prepared to also buy a fabric cleaner or furniture soap, as it can get a bit dirty (especially for those nasty smudges and circles). the risk you take when you buy bright things. Overall I am very happy with the chair for the money spent. Does its job down to the last cent. Are there other more comfortable chairs? Yes. but if you want more, you have to pay a "big" price. But as far as economical drafting chairs go, I haven't seen or sat in a chair that beats this one. and again a very very stylish chair.
