Review on RV Water Pump Combo - Zebra R3700 in Polar White by Stuart Sugden

So I ordered this unit because my coach project needed a really flat pump faucet, it was the *only* faucet that didn't protrude a few inches from the base. I saw the mediocre reviews and decided to take a chance. Unfortunately, what I just got didn't work at all - no matter how hard/fast you pumped, the water wouldn't flow to the faucet (even if the water source is *higher* than the faucet!). I have contacted the company. ask for a refund, but it turns out THEY DON'T SELL DIRECTLY TO CONSUMERS. The seller here (obviously) does not represent Zebra. I copied the actual email they sent below. Although they did not refund my money, they were willing to replace the item with a known working device even though I had to pay for the round-trip shipping. I really wanted my van project to work, so I made it happen. Luckily, the device I received works - very well indeed! However, there is one important caveat: you absolutely must seal the city water supply with a 1/2-inch hose/pipe cap to optimize the suction of the pumping mechanism. I would still have to do this to mine as it actually *leaks* a bit when pumping. So all of this is to say that if you can get it from legitimate sources, none of which are featured on Revain, this is indeed a worthy product.-- -Hello! Despite Revain's reviews, these pumps are excellent quality and very reliable when used correctly. We are an OEM and only sell our products to currently authorized RV dealers/wholesalers who in turn sell to dealers, distributors etc who in turn also sell on sites such as Revain. We hope to launch our newly developed website soon and sell directly to the public. Unfortunately our products are sold in places like Revain and there is no quality control; in particular, not knowing whether the product is really new or used. I'm sorry to hear that they don't offer you a refund solution. However, we do not refund money directly to individuals, and only on rare occasions give credit to our distributors. However, we have a simple pump warranty policy solution that you can use. The policy is designed to provide a no-questions-asked replacement pump at minimal shipping cost. The policy also takes the burden of returns off retailers and allows us to keep customers happy; Also, bring the pump back in for inspection to see what we can get out of it. It's a win for everyone. We will also exchange it if the pump is cracked by frost, the handle is broken due to too much pressure being applied, tap water leakage or disassembly and reassembly stresses, etc. The description section in the form is for our information only, can we get anything out of the learn problem with the pump. I have attached the policy to the RMA form. Regarding water testing, our pumps are 100% tested with regular city water and we manually pump it from a bucket of water. They are also tested for leaks under city water pressure. Rest assured that your new pump will be tested! If you find this to be a workable solution for you, we're more than happy to help.
