I didn't think my Dell XPS system could support one of the newer and more powerful cards so this seemed like a good choice. My OEM 460W PSU should be enough, and it turns out it was. After installation, my system crashed about every 15 minutes. I've tried several things. Tech support at MSI was woefully inadequate, but NVIDIA support gave her a shot at college. But they didn't really help in the end. After extensive internet searching I came across an issue between the Dell XPS 8700's power saving settings and this card. After I fixed that, the card and my computer worked really well together. I've still had a few crashes - oddly related to my email client (Thunderbird) - so there may still be some incompatibility issues lurking beneath the surface.
