Review on LEDSTAR Aquarium Dimmable Installation AQ J90 by Sarah Phillips

Please don't disturb the algae :/ My son is cleaning my aquarium and has been busy studying. So he came to install my new light. His friend had been talking about this lantern for a while, but couldn't send it cheaply to Hawaii. So we've been waiting for that to happen at Revain. This light shines much better than my last light (Twinstar). I'm not sure the model number but it was one of the older models. The first thing that struck me is how much bigger it is, so maybe more lights/LEDs? That's probably why the tank looks so much better in this kind of lighting. My son says the all metal design is for the heat. He had a different fan mounted aquarium light but this thing drove me nuts. So he picked up the last light that started to break on us. This light cost us $350 discount here. We bought this lantern for $240 after tax. In my opinion, this lamp should be more expensive. It just looks more luxurious. The Twinstar's metal isn't well finished, so you could scratch yourself when rubbing it. LEDSTAR workers took the time to grind or smooth the metal cuts. Something you would expect from an LED that has so many. So I'm not sure why the other brand did NOT. The app is pretty easy to use. I'm still trying to learn. I think you need an app to change settings or turn on and off. We changed a few settings to see the difference and I added some pictures. We're still learning about the app, perhaps over time I can update this review with more information about the app. But now I am very happy with this purchase. Get what I believe to be the best light and spend over $100 less! A NOTE: Be sure to order a suspension kit. My son forgot to order this. I think you should hang something this beautiful over your fish tank instead of using metal legs. It's just a personal preference as a mother I guess.
