I like that this is a USB powered heater, not an RCA. The steering wheel ranges from barely warm to hot to the touch. I tried plugging it into my 12V USB port but it didn't work even though the battery was advertised as 5V. Instead I connected my power bank to my cell phone and it works like a charm. I placed my power supply on a tripod stand and it's long enough, but the cord isn't very long so you can get a USB extension cord for it if you want it to reach a lot further than the ground directly below. It is nice that the design generally allows for expansion. Velcro is tight and stretches a bit if you're wondering. 25cm Fits my ST80 easily but make sure you choose the right length for your scope.
