Review on Fiskars 7 Inch Folding Saw by David Blackstock

Terrible. I returned it. I cut a lot and recently lost my favorite pruning saw. I had other Fiskars products and thought this was a good deal. Boy was I wrong. This saw is so poorly finished and engineered that it's hard to believe it's a genuine product. The blade is very thin - definitely not stiff enough to cut even a medium sized thing. I was trying to cut fairly small maple branches (1/2" to 1") and the blade was bent so much that it was very difficult for me to cut. In addition, the teeth of the blade are set in a wide, coarse cross-cut, which is NOT suitable for a pruning saw. The wide pattern prevents the blade from cutting cleanly into the wood or making a clean finish cut. The plastic case is very cheaply made from lightweight plastic with many mold defects. Just don't buy.
