They do not slip! - my new review

Great non slip placemats. They have also helped the kids when they write to have something to refer to and or practice letters and numbers.

Pros

Easy clean-up for parents: Reusable silicone tablemats with non-slip backing stay in place on the table during mealtime and are easily washable afterward. Just use a damp cloth to wipe clean. By reducing children’s sticky messes in the kitchen and making cleanup painless, merka mats help busy parents enjoy a bit more free time. Flexible, bendy mats are easy to store, too

The markers' tip is not smooth and makes it challenging to draw perfect lines and shapes
