Great for large wounds. I had a cut in the groin area about 6 cm long. This bandage was flexible enough to cover this tight spot to prevent any chafing or soiling/bacteria. It kept my cut dry enough in the shower. I wouldn't take long showers or anything like that and would definitely turn my back on splashes until you need to be in. One thing that is a little difficult to put on at the first time. Since the glue is very flexible and will curl up into a heap if you are careless, there is a plastic backing to keep the glue in shape. The best way to inflate these is to remove just the tiniest corner and peel off the backing while immediately pressing the adhesive to the skin with your other hand. If you do it right it works great
