I'm posting this for 2 reasons: 1. Where to put the resistance mount? 2. Lightweight 1. Installation is easy, just open the cover on the inside of the jeep next to the cross member with a flathead screwdriver to access the locking bolts. Remove the plastic screw using the torx tool that comes with the jeep. When you turn off the light, unplug the wires and remove the 3 screws from the extension bracket on the original light and then put it on the new LED light. On the new light I installed the resistor mount through the bottom pin and attached the resistor with just one screw hanging down. The resistor gets hot so I put it in the light as far away from the wires as possible. On the passenger side I installed it in the same place but horizontally so as not to interfere with the trunk lever.2. This light is wider and stretches compared to the factory halogen light. Fit and finish are ok. It breaks a little on the side if you overtighten the locking screw. The panel market doesn't work with DRLs only when the lights are on.
