Review on Viltrox Adapter Converter Compatible Mirrorless by Tone Hatton

This adapter allows me to use my old Canon EF mount lenses on the M50. It is equipped with optics that increase light reception by one f-stop and shorten the focal length by 0.71 times. I don't know how it works but when I changed the aperture I was shocked that my f/1.4 is now f/1.2, just magical. I can still use auto focus and auto iris but it doesn't work with any of my Samyang lenses. It's well built and with a little searching you'll find firmware updates that are easy to update. The reason it was hard to find is that the text was in Chinese and I was having trouble figuring out which driver was correct for my update. It's pretty quick and easy to make and only needs to be done once. After setting up the adapter it works very well and I am very happy with it. If you are thinking of a speed boost adapter I would recommend you consider this one, excellent value for money. Don't be frustrated the first time you use it, make sure you have the latest firmware. This will solve all focus and dropout issues.
