A few days after I received the Red Dingo Cat Collar One Size Detachable etc. I was sitting at my computer and hearing my cat gagging. I thought he had a hairball, but upon examination I saw that he straightened the collar and tore it with his claws. The collar was getting too tight and he was gagging so I pulled on the broken part which didn't help as it was still attached to the choke collar. I grabbed a pair of scissors and cut the collar to keep my cat from gagging. He's resting comfortably now, but I can't be surprised if we weren't home when this happened. I would not recommend this collar to anyone. To be fair, looking at the collar in your photo, the breakout occurs after the regulator. On the one I have/had, the lift-off and regulator are a piece to prevent this feature from working. Interesting.?
