Review on πŸ”ͺ Professional 5.5" Barber Scissors, Hair Shears made with Japan 440C Silvery Convex Blades - Kinsaro Cutting Shears by Dee Kray

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Surprisingly well done. Very sharp. For occasional or backup use.

Pros: - Surprisingly well made. - Extremely sharp. (All three pairs I bought were sharp enough to cut skin with a light touch.) As well made as a pair of Japanese-made scissors for a few hundred dollars. (Hollow cut - concave surfaces with a well-polished convex outer cross-section) - Smooth and easy cutting. Disadvantages: β€” No swivel bearing; simple tension screw (not as durable as a few hundred bucks high end Japanese scissors) - Made from the less expensive and softer 440C stainless steel commonly used in surgical instruments - Does not last as long as the harder forged steels like Kobalt VG -10 is contained in several hundred Japanese scissors - they cannot withstand being used up to 10 times a day. All of this means that they are well-made, very sharp, smooth-cut scissors that are perfect for casual home use or as a backup pair for professional use.
