I ordered two of these and neither of them were able to remove any of the lock nuts. Both failed instantly, first distorting the key pattern and then tearing apart. I was concerned that I had permanently ruined the keyway on the lugs, but was still looking for a better alternative. I was able to track down the maker of the lugs and ordered a "genuine" key to go with it. Thanks to this, I was able to remove all the protrusions without any problems. I can see how they work if your grommets aren't overtightened like mine. Anyway, I don't think they will last long.
