I really like this rug. This is a "exhibit" for a nanny. Whenever I show my friends a new nursery, this rug is the first thing they comment on. I find it a bit pricey for the size of the rug, but it's very cute.

Unfortunately, I literally can't get rid of this terrible smell. I've washed it, no kidding, 13 times. I've tried everything. Nothing comes out. It also smelled a bit like my washing machine now. And the towels I used to wash had to be thrown away. I'm so sad 'cause it's just darling So soft. i want to keep it If anyone has any tips on how to get rid of the smell, please let us know. I will try to save.

The first large format 5x8 for my daughter's room that I bought 5 years ago. It is so comfortable to sit or lie on. I have washed it several times in a large commercial washing machine, which is very convenient. We liked it so much I bought another one in a smaller size. The smaller size (2.8 x 4.8) fits in my home washing machine, so the first thing I did was wash it on a constant spin cycle when I got it. Washes well.

I bought this small 'patch' rug along with a large rug in the same color and style for our bathroom. (Not bought from Amazon) It is of excellent quality, looks beautiful and fits perfectly in front of the toilet. The only thing that bothers me is the smell! When I unpacked it (it was wrapped tightly in clear plastic) it smelled like celery! Very strong, like cooking celery on the stove. I took it to the laundry and washed it completely, also with rinse aid. I took it home to hang in the laundry

Read all. The light blue rug turned up on a bargain so I bought it ($75 for a $300 rug, YES please!). I used to buy a smaller pink one and I love it! This blue smells VERY BAD. I hung it up to air. I took it to the laundry to use the professional washing machine with tons of fragrant down balls. Now I'm going to try the vinegar spray. The bottom line is that if a deal looks good, it must be true. That! There's no point in having a nice rug if it smells so bad you can't keep it at home! UPDATE…
