Honestly for the price AND quality, don't double think it, JUST BUY THEM! I've been doing photography for a little while now and I've always had gels at school to use but not at home so I decided to purchase these. They are thicker then the cheap, thin plastic ones my high school used to have and the colors are so bright and saturated! The only "complaint" that I have is that the yellow is more of a neon highlighter yellow instead of a more toned down one in the pictures but that's just me…

Like many others, i put this over my outdoor flood lights to give my house red and green Christmas colors. Ive used lots in the past that have worked fine. The red color does work very well and casts a nice bright red color. I gave 1 star bc the green has no color at all, maybe it throws a 5 % green color compared to not usung at all. I even doubled the green and it still sucks, i got a lot to do, i aint got time for this.

Remember to remove the protective film before use.I am using these on top of 60w LED bulb flood fixtures for room fill. The lights don't get too hot so they do not melt. Works good enough. If you want deeper colors then you might need specialty lights and not color filters.

I’m a photographer and bought these for my Neon photo Series! They work great! They don’t melt and work well with LED lights. I double them up to get a richer color. For the price you can’t go wrong

Installed these over led lights. Heat isn’t an issue as this was installed over the glass and never got hot. But after just a day the color in the plastic is fading and where the leds shine through it’s already mostly white again. Would return but we had to cut them to fit so I’m sure I can’t. Not worth the money.

A nice selection of colors. Each sheet has a peelable film than can be drawn on with marker and the removed after cutting. I cut circles and put on exterior landscape lighting. I noticed last year’s cutouts experienced a little light/heat fade but that’s to be expected.

Used for making camera filters for underwater video. Worked well for this purpose. They come with a protective peel off coating to keep them perfect. They do scratch easily one the coating is off.

I use this primarily to dim/colorize 7-segment displays for various DIY electronics projects. It is easy to measure sections with a ruler and mark cut guides on the plastic with a permanent marker. I use a pair of Scotch Titanium scissors to cut the sheets. It is thick enough to be durable, but thin enough to cut and bend with ease.

I bought these for some lights. Was going to buy two packs but I ended up cutting them. It was enough for two light panels and two tiny lights. I am so happy with them.They cut easly, but the color comes thru amazingly! I will be buying morw again. I use them all the time and my PA's keep loosing them. Lol.

Got for a friend who has dyslexia to put over books to help him deal with white space while he read. Nice. He said it helped.
