While I personally would love to see the sticky side on the opposite side of the valve I have to tell you all I love it. Every piece of vinyl I have has been put in them. I'm not a fan of other protective cases. Do not believe me? Well look at my picture. Each album is packaged in Record Rescue sleeves. This includes my vintage and reissues.

Approximately 20-25% of cases have no tape. About half a dozen others were missing a strip on half a page, resulting in the unsealed half of the flap hanging when the album was put back inside. I'll add photos later but my brothers and I had an extensive record collecting period as teenagers from the late 70's to the 80's. Most of these were played on tape once and then resealed. Of the 635 albums I own, most come in original shrink wrap with promotional stickers and prices! It's better to remove the shrink wrap for archival purposes, but I can't do that if the recording was accompanied by a special promotional copy.
