Having been hospitalized for the better part of 4 1/2 years I've done A LOT of coloring. Even now that I'm home and well on my way to full recovery I color, color, color and color some more. I purchased these Artlicious pens as an addition to my casual adult coloring collection. For that purpose, they work okay. These pens have a very nice assortment of colors, with lots of pretty pinks and purples. The packaging is nice and compact, with ten trays of pens in a plastic box. I tried every single pen after I got the shipment (2 colors, both Henri Matisse' fave, bubble gum pink and fresh green don't work; roller ballpoint malfunctioned).The flow was good; not excessive or sparse. Gel ink doesn't bleed thru my 68lb paper. The colors are mostly vibrant. Although there's no pen the same but some colors can look very similar except the type of ink used (pastel, glitter, or metallic). The non sparkly/metallic colors can look rather flat on white paper but that's expected.

Pens are smooth in their application. I always use up green and the fact that I got 18 green pens in the container is a definite plus. These pens are fantastic for coloring and writing! The ink flows so smoothly that you can't even tell you're coloring with a gel pen. No weird streaks or gaps in the color flow. I love the variety of colors. I plan combine the gel pens with my water color pencils. Unfortunately, one of the pens got broken, probably during shipment and I got the ink all over my hands and clothing before I realized there was a problem. I spent over an hour cleaning up the mess. Rubbing alchohol cleans up ink quite well, usually, but this color of deep purple stained. i don't know how long it will take to wear off of my hands and my brand new jeans are destroyed. Bummer!

These gel pens are awesome! These colors are very vibrant. If you are coloring and you mess up you can usually just wipe with your finger and it will come right off (I used paper with a black background, not sure how this would work on a white background). For this product, I am happy. I've bought many different brands of gel pens. This particular brand, I've noticed, some pens do not write right away. I have to tap the pen many times on paper and heat the metal so it comes out. Once it does, the colors are vibrant. I'd buy this product again, only because the colors are unique.
