Type of review

This was a replacement for a competitor brand. Both come with 4-5 adapters that are easy to snap in at the top to select the type of spray you want, but we have a big box store birdbath with a 12" diameter basin and all but one of the nozzles shoot the water out of the birdbath and drain it dry in about a minute. So, just like our former unit, we have the one that shoots the water up minimally to keep the water in the birdbath. Our other solar powered unit has a permanent plastic filtering…

Pros
  • Includes a protective mesh screen that keeps debris out of the pump and extends the lifespan of the unit
Cons
  • The fountain may not be very efficient in terms of water usage, particularly in areas with drought restrictions.

This started working as I was carrying it to the bird bath. No charging was need. As long as it isn't to cloudy and the bath has water in it this little gem just keeps on going. Cleaning it is easy also.

Pros
  • It's budget-friendly and affordable for anyone who wants to add a water feature to their outdoor space
Cons
  • The fountain may not be safe for small children, as the water can be deep or have a strong current.

Solar bird bath good for me

This fountain is a fun thing for my garden. Very cute. However, if the dial moves to the side of the bath, the water tends to sprays out right away and you will have to refill more often. Other wise it will keep pumping no water.

Pros
  • ‎160 Liters Per Hour
Cons
  • The pump may not be compatible with certain types of water features.

Does the job in my review

In direct sunlight it will send a stream of water 2 feet or so into the air. There are several nozzles to choose from. If you want a single stream, it’s got that, if you want a spray, that’s an option too.

Pros
  • Only issue, it it's breezy water evaporates quickly out of bird bath
Cons
  • I would like to be able to adjust the force of the water jet.

Only lasted about 6 weeks.

Didn't last long. Need to buy another but can't see buying the same brand. But that turned out to be on me. Once I realized I could pull the motor from the unit I discovered a clogged filter. Washed it out and it's running fine.

Pros
  • ‎Mademax
Cons
  • The size of the fountain may not be suited for small garden spaces.

Order delivered quickly and of expected quality. Two points to consider: you need to have continuous sunlight for fountain to work (spray water) and the depth/quantity of water is critical. I tried in my standard birdbath and water depth not deep enough to work well. Additionally, the spray expells water from birdbath. I would think it would work well in a 1/2 oak barrel type of container, pond or larger container.

Pros
  • KEEPING THE PUMP IN THE MIDDLE OF THE BIRD BATH: Our company has designed a retainer to avoid the random movement of the solar fountain pump. It prevents the solar powered water fountain from spraying water outside the bath and empties water quickly. No more wasting time on filling water.
Cons
  • The pump may require frequent replacement of parts, which can be costly over time.

Good Fountain Addition

I really like this fountain but a few things I found out after purchasing.1. Make sure you're putting it in a wide bird bath bowl. Mine just fits and because of that, the water splashes out and drains the bowl quickly. I suggest making sure your bird bath is at least 12 inches in diameter.2. When in direct sunlight, this fountain works great. Mine gets full sun for part of the day but partial shade the rest of the day. When in direct light, the fountain gives off a strong and consistent spray…

Pros
  • ‎Solar Powered
Cons
  • The fountain may not be easy to assemble, particularly for individuals without prior experience with water features.

Works well in direct sun

Or on a bright day. It slows down considerably in the shade or overcast. I like it though because it moves the water without being a difficult to clean pump.

Pros
  • The solar panel is adjustable, allowing you to position it based on where sunlight is strongest
Cons
  • The fountain may not be very suitable for use in a commercial setting.

Works well if you can provide AMPLE sunlight

This simple solar fountain works much better than anticipated. Although it is exceedingly simple to assemble and operate out of the box, I can only give it 4 stars for two main reasons:1.) It's very sensitive to the amount of solar light it receives and will not operate if even a touch of a shadow crosses a portion of the panels.2.) It's prone to user error, especially in the application I had intended it forI wanted a shallow bird bath for my front yard to prevent the local birds from pecking…

Pros
  • ‎Plastic
Cons
  • The fountain may not be durable enough to withstand harsh weather conditions.

Solar Birdbath Fountain Empties Birdbath

I have been wanting one of these for a long time so decided to purchase one when I saw the great price. It comes with 6 different nozzles for different spray patterns and is very easy to set up and use.My only issue is that I did not realize that it would spray outside of the birdbath and drain it in just a few minutes, and I don't see any way to adjust the spray. If you're using this in a very large birdbath or in a pond, then this probably won't be an issue. Other than that, I think it's an…

Pros
  • Patio, Lawn & Garden
Cons
  • The fountain may not be suited for areas with rocky or uneven terrain.

It works as long as you keep the filter clean

I am keeping this in a bird bath, and it keeps the water moving which attracts the birds. I took off the attachment that makes the water spray up so it just kind of flows gently out of the top which is still good enough. With the attachments on, the motor (in full sunlight) is strong enough to spray the water pretty high, and when it's windy the water ends up being blown over the side, emptying the bird bath. On cloudy days there's not much flow, but that's what I would expect from a solar…

Pros
  • EASY TO USE: Just put in the water, the pump will start to work in 3s once exposed to sufficient sunlight, perfect for bird bath, fish tank, small pond, pool, garden decoration, water circulation for oxygen.
Cons
  • The pump may not function well in areas with fluctuating water levels.

Needs direct direct sunlight

Works well but not one that keeps a charge. Works only with direct sunlight. Will not work in indirect or shade of any kind. Has been pretty durable with weather conditions.

Pros
  • Comes with four different nozzle heads to create a variety of fountain patterns
Cons
  • The fountain may not include all of the necessary components for installation, such as tubing or a mounting bracket.

Works well, maybe too powerful

Purchased this for our birdbath. But most of the spray heads spray the water to high or too far, meaning by the end of the day, the birdbath is empty, especially on windier days.

Pros
  • ‎Solar Fountain, User Manual, Exclusive Fixer, nozzles
Cons
  • The fountain may not be very customizable in terms of water patterns.

Birds enjoy in my review

Nice to change the sprays but in my windy days I have to bring it in. The birds seem to enjoy the sprays and I enjoy watching them

Pros
  • ‎AS10B
Cons
  • The pump may collect algae, which can affect its lifespan and effectiveness.

I love it but. best in my review

I really like my little fountain but there are a few things that a potential buyer should know about.I have mine in a fairly shallow ceramic birdbath. I have had it several months. The fountain works great as long as I give it sun and water. The problem is that on a very sunny, hot day the water might need to be added several times because it evaporates quickly as the ceramic heats. The movement of the water in the air doesn't help this.On a windy day, if the fountain is high (the height varies…

Pros
  • ‎No
Cons
  • The fountain may require additional equipment to be installed, which can increase the cost.

Critter magnet! in my review

I love that this fountain keeps the mosquitoes from laying eggs in my bird bath. Unfortunately, a critter has stolen on of the intake tubes. So it’s not balanced with only 3, so I removed them. My fountain is in a partially shady spot and still gets enough sun to spray.

Pros
  • The fountain pump can help to oxygenate and aerate the water in a pond or other water feature, promoting a healthy ecosystem
Cons
  • The pump may not be very effective at circulating the water in a pond or pool.

Works well too powerful for 11 in bird bath.

Very powerful and works well. Comes with different nozzels. Word of advice I bought an 11 inch bird bath and this is too powerful for it. The water shoots up so well it ends up on the ground. So I've had to leave all the nozzles off and just let it run on its attached spout.

Pros
  • If you’re just looking for a little water movement/noise and his is great.
Cons
  • The fountain may not be suitable for large ponds or pools.

Great little fountain!

Bought this for our bird bath and it really adds something to a plain bird bath.We decided to run it without a spray nozzle due to it spraying the water out of the pool of water causing us to have to refill it many times during the day. Without a nozzle it shoots a column of water up about 6 inches. It works fine with full sun but will start pulsing when there clouds covering the sun but it seems the birds including humming birds love it!Now to see how long it keeps working. I'm sure it depends…

Pros
  • The fountain pump runs continuously, creating a relaxing and soothing atmosphere that can contribute to a more peaceful environment
Cons
  • The fountain may not be very effective at oxygenating the water.

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good ut not great on my review.

I love that it keeps the foundation circulated but it only gurgles and doesn’t spray up like the pics. Maybe it needs deeper water. Most birds don’t seem to mind and will bathe in the fountain with it there. Overall pretty good for the price. I clean mine off with vinegar water. :)

Pros
  • Power is derived from the sun, so there's no need for an external power source
Cons
  • The fountain may not be very stable in areas with high foot traffic.

Cheap, easy to use, clogs

This was an experiment and if I ever actually got serious about getting a solar fountain, I'd find one that doesn't clog so easily. The little holes are fairly easy to de-clog, but it would have been a good idea to design the product with some kind of netting at the intake to prevent the need for de-clogging.

Pros
  • Pumps & Circulation
Cons
  • The fountain may not operate at night, even with a built-in battery.
