Works but doesn't fit

Doesn't fit at all as others have pointed out. I had to cut out the OEM mounting surface and it was still recessed and more recessed than it should be.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Minor issues

May not fit perfectly

Works great but a 1999 Tacoma Prerunner would need modification to the mounting plate in the center of the plate to install it. I used my Dremmel tool and it came out perfectly.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Didn't work at all

Looked good but. Was used to replace the original switch that did not "lock" the doors properly. I installed this device and now the windows don't work and the doors still won't close. Requested and received full refund.

Pros
  • Nice thing
Cons
  • Expensive

Doesn't quite fit but works well

This replacement did not fit exactly. I had to use a dremel to cut a small notch in the plastic switch plate that attaches to the door. I can still recommend it for the price and the device works without any problems.

Pros
  • Price
Cons
  • Negative impression

Fantastic and fits my 1999 Tacoma

Fits my 1999 Tacoma at a fraction of the cost of an OEM switch. Swapped the old for the new in a few minutes. Doesn't fit perfectly but doesn't bother me and looks the same (except the hair is lower than the old switch)

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Non automatic

Works and fits most

I replaced the original switch with this one. It works, but it doesn't fit properly. In the middle circle in the picture there are glitches that prevent the switch from latching. The OEM has a level for the required game. I had to leave the screws loose to avoid bending or breaking the armrest panel. I will keep it anyway as I need it. If it did, it would be five stars.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • Disappears

2000 Tacoma 2 Door Window Switch

This switch was a fraction of the cost of other vendors. Thought it was worth the risk. So far the switch works great. I would give 5 stars if it would fit without having to change the car's front panel. (Requires a bit of sanding with a dremel on the underside of the bezel, I don't think this will cause any problems if I decide to replace it with an OEM program in the future.) Some of the markings on the switches differ slightly from that Original but it looks great and I really like the…

Pros
  • Grand Prize
Cons
  • Big and Bulky
