Worked great for a while

When I had problems with my old solenoid it sometimes worked and sometimes it didn't. It recently stopped working all together. This part has the same problem, but at least sometimes it works.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Well

Heavy Duty Construction - Motorcycle & Powersports

I don't know how long it will last, but it's definitely "heavier" than the OEM model. Optically and haptically very good quality. It worked great. Time will tell if it holds up, but I have no reason to think otherwise. I'm glad I bought it.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • I don't know anymore

direct replacement fits filter

Mates with the original part at a fraction of the price. If your battery is full and you don't hear a click when you press the start button, this is probably the culprit. Replace it and it should light up immediately. As always, check the fuses first.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Functionality

Inexpensive and made

Bad from the start. It's my own fault, I tried to save some money and bought a cheap part, well, cheap. Don't waste your time if you don't mind changing solenoids until you find a good one. If you have the time and don't mind swapping them out as long as you don't get a good one, this might be good for you.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Expensive

Works well for the price.

They work well for their price. Bought one of these for the third time for a Honda 300 Fourtrax. The first one I got needed a replacement plug for a factory magnet. The next two were installed with the correct connector. My experience shows that they last about two years if started daily. In two years, most likely, it will either fail closed or openly. A closed fault is far from ideal, since the starter motor continues to rotate even after the four-wheeler has started, there is little that can…

Pros
  • Doping πŸ”₯
Cons
  • I vaguely remember
