Should have had this mount from the factory!

I enjoyed every aspect of this product. My truck should have had this sturdy bracket from the factory. It was a great design and fit like it was made to hang a 2.5" exhaust pipe. Installation took less than 10 minutes. A wrench was used. The pipe no longer rattles and stays where it belongs! On time as promised Heavy duty coated steel, nuts and bolts included Competitive price.

Pros
  • Zinc plated for extra durability
Cons
  • Quality

Parts replacement headache solved

I needed to install an exhaust system on my 2000 Suburban with a 6.0 liter engine. I couldn't find any factory pipes so I had to make my own system build.Trying to figure out how to hang the system behind the muffler confused me until I stumbled upon this handy bit. It's heavy and allowed me to hang the system at the desired height without looking like a rough job.Only gripe is that the hanger rod is snug against the muffler clamp and the nuts rub against each other which makes assembly a bit…

Pros
  • Fits 2-1/2" exhaust pipe
Cons
  • High price

Required to mount my exhaust pipe, worked great

A lot of people complain about how close together the adjustable hanger nut and the U clamp nut are, but to be honest I haven't had any problems. They are both free to rotate and accordingly tighten right where they are. I would assume that if you try to use the socket wrench it won't work, but I quickly overcame it with just a wrench. The adjustable suspension bracket was just long enough to position it exactly how I wanted it, and the whole thing is made of durable stainless steel so it won't

Pros
  • Easy to assemble - Screw the screw onto the exhaust pipe and adjust the hanger to the desired length. Cut off the excess hanger.
Cons
  • Lots of things
