Description of 200 Waterproof Heat Shrink Butt Connectors For Marine And Automotive Use - 16-14AWG Blue Wire Crimp Connectors

Premium Materials - AIRIC heat shrink butt connectors have the high-quality copper tubular, which ensures increased current flow, and less voltage drop, thus preventing wiring failures and reducing equipment downtime. Also, the thick tubular of butt connectors ensures strong crimp every time - your wire will never slip out of the connector. Durability - Translucent heat shrink tubing provides high tensile strength and resistance to stretch and mechanical damage. Dual-walled tubing ensures waterproof seal and prevents wire corrosion. The inner wall of waterproof heat shrink tube has enough hot melt adhesive to ensure waterproof performance. Waterproof - Designed with polyolefin outside and hot melt inside provides excellent waterproof property. When heating, the polyolefin tubing reduces in size and adhesive flows inside the insulation. The butt connectors heat shrink comply with all relevant standards, Shrinking ratio: 3:1. Easy to Use - Strip wire insulation and insert into shrink butt connectors, crimp the connector tubular, and heat with a hot air gun or small torch. Just a few seconds. No soldering kit required. REMEMBER: The red butt connector should be used for 22-16 AWG, blue butt connector for 16-14 AWG, and yellow butt connector for 12-10 AWG. Quantity - 200pcs blue 16-14 AWG heat shrink butt connectors. As its great waterproof and conductivity, AIRIC heat shrink butt connectors are ideal used for marine, automotive, home, or scientific projects.

I really liked how these crimped and sealed.

I used these to connect landscape lighting wires, Just to make sure, after crimping and heat shrinking. I sealed them with liquid tape just for good measure (probably a bit of overkill), but I never want to chase down another corroded wire that is buried underground. I really liked how these crimped and sealed.

Pros
  • Good Product. it does what it says. good material. I recommend it for sure.
Cons
  • Requires some level of technical skill to use properly

Water proof terminal

Decent terminals for cost. Crimping metal seems to be of good quality but heat shrink leaves a lot to be desired. Adhesive does not bond to wire very well and they take substantially more heat than higher quality splices like Pacer.

Pros
  • The work well, and seal great
Cons
  • Only includes blue connectors, limiting color coding options

Shrink or Catxh in my review

They are ok. They seem to tend to catch fire rather than shrink. Just have to use caution and patience and they’ll work right.

Pros
  • great
Cons
  • Possible risk of overheating during installation

Not as easy as it should be.

I wasn't really pleased with these connectors. The heat shrink is pretty thick and doesn't shrink well. I used a very hot gun and it took it several seconds. Using a lighter just made it melt away. That wasn't the reason for my 3 star rating though. The metal that is used must be metal that Iron Man used in his suit. I was trying to connect my car stereo with 20 ga and no matter how hard you squeeze to crimp it down the wire still comes out. It is very possible I don't have the strength to…

Pros
  • Good quality arrived in 48 hours excellent
Cons
  • Risk of melting or damaging neighboring wires during installation

Thanks It does the work

They do the job right but the plastic part is Little bit hard not so soft like the ones that I buy at the marine store near me May require additional specialized tools for installation.

Pros
  • I used the connectors for wiring my Bow light on my boat.
Cons
  • May require additional specialized tools for installation

No adhesive. Butt they work well

I wish they had adhesive to double up on water resistance. Butt I used them. They crimp well. They hold well. They’ll do just fine.

Pros
  • I had the product in three days from the date of order product works good
Cons
  • Quantity of 200 may be excessive for smaller projects
