Great replacement for the first generation Pontiac Vibe

Great replacement for the long OEM antenna on my 2006 Pontiac Vibe. The rubber part of the base of the original was all dry and cracked. Easy roll change. The radio still works as expected. I like that this one is shorter than the original.

Pros
  • Don't waste too much time
Cons
  • No paint required

Works great: antennas

My 2007 Toyota Corolla antenna was broken and making an awkward noise so after hours of searching I settled on this one and as soon as it arrived I took off my old one and put this one on. It took less than a minute and once the radio is turned on, the sound is perfect.

Pros
  • super price
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Slight improvement in reception

Used on 04 matrix. I started from scratch and noticed a slight improvement after installing this guy. Very easy to install. Screws only. Sometimes the old antenna screw is still there and you may need pliers to pry it out (my antenna broke). Before you buy, find out about the fit.

Pros
  • Lots of positive emotions
Cons
  • Weight

Great solution for my 2009 Prius radio

My radio wouldn't work due to static on all stations even when the seller replaced 2 speakers. He clearly thought that was the point. I'm so glad I decided to try this inexpensive solution because that was my problem. Now I have a decent old radio but with a pretty good sound.

Pros
  • There's something in it
Cons
  • Piggy bank price

No difference in acceptance!

Very similar to the original antenna that came with the car. I tried the antenna from the $19 auto parts store but it didn't work and thought this "OEM" part would work better - no! To be honest it was a cheap experiment ($5 + shipping) and didn't detract from the reception. I can try the old copper wire trick to improve reception. So.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Doubtful

Very important! in antennas

This is significantly shorter than the stock antenna for my '06 Prius (which fell apart). It took 20 seconds to unscrew the old one and install this new antenna. I didn't notice any difference in signal quality, but then again, I live in a big city and usually only listen to a few stations. Either way, replacing the unsightly original element that was literally falling apart was worth it. !

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Trade in

The radio does not receive any channels with this antenna. It's not long enough to work properly. If you live in Midtown Manhattan in New York this might work just fine, but in New Jersey you shouldn't have Shame Shame Shame at that eBay seller who sold me. Shame shame shame in the basement

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Poor

GARBAGE! CHEAP! CHINA!

This is the cheapest antenna I have ever owned. I installed it and have been using it for several months. The signal started to weaken, so I tried to remove the antenna using the wench I used to install it. It was so rusty I couldn't remove it. I finally unscrewed it and after unscrewing it about halfway it broke. The metal screen around the soundproofing was like tinfoil. The solder was bad too. Cheap cheap antenna.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • It pisses me off

Great replacement for VW Jetta

Great replacement for my 2010 VW Jetta. All I had to do was open the envelope, unscrew the weathered factory antenna, and then screw on the new one. car wash. I live in a nice suburban area about 35 miles from the nearest major city (Charlotte, NC) and I get my stations just as well with a shorter antenna as with a longer one. I definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Alright
