The key is flimsy and doesn't open anything or start the car.

I have a 2007 Scion Tc and was able to program and get keyless entry by watching a youtube video but after cutting the key into ace which they charge $2 for I noticed I turn that the key does not work. So I taped it and they measured it with calipers and the bar they use to be able to clamp the key was thinner than my original key and that ruins everything.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Hard to tell

Scion Tc 2006 anti-theft protection good

I looked up on the internet how to program the transponder chip and the remote control. It worked and I bought them for $2 at my local hardware store. All in all, this beats the retailer's desired $300 price point.

Pros
  • self-confident
Cons
  • ugly packaging

REST IN PEACE! Key Not Working 2013 Toyota Yaris

STOP! THAT WAS FALSE ADVERTISING! THIS WILL NOT FIT 2013 Toyota Yaris! LOST MY TIME AND MONEY AFTER CUTTING THE KEY OFF, FAILING TO SWITCH THE VEHICLE WHEN THE IGNITION IS ON. BECAUSE THIS IS THE WRONG KEY. NOW DO I HAVE TO PAY TO SEND THE KEY THAT IS NOT WORKING TO GET A REFUND!? NEVER BUY FROM THIS SELLER!

Pros
  • Stable Test Results
Cons
  • Nothing

Doesn't work, won't program

This is my second order of this key; The first worked flawlessly for over a year. I lost the key again so I ordered a new one. $3 spent cutting the key, which is necessary because you have to insert and turn during the programming sequence. This would not complete the programming. I have communicated with seller tech support many times, they didn't know why it is not programmed and told me to return for a refund.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Almost never
