Keyless Entry Remote for Chevy Tahoe, Cadillac Escalade, GMC Yukon (Fits Part # 15913427, 20869057, 22756462) Review

I have a 2012 GMC Yukon so I ordered it based on feedback from other customers who watched a YouTube video on programming (which is very easy when your car is older). Unfortunately I haven't researched enough and my car needs to be programmed by a locksmith for $50 or you have to hire a programmer for about the same cost to do it yourself. Just a note. I really needed more and was trying to save money at the dealer as they cost over $100.

Programming was very easy, it took less than 5 minutes. Lock/unlock works. And the button to open the rear window on the Tahoe, however, the button for the power tailgate doesn't work at all, which is a big disappointment. I received this fabulous Keu yesterday, September 4th. I just programmed the fab tonight and am thinking of returning it for a replacement. I think the fab is faulty for the specific key. The key fob itself is well made. The outer shell looks like an exact replacement for the GM key fob I was looking to replace. My only issue was that my Yukon 2011 wouldn't let me add a new key manually, so I had to use that to program (which I wanted to avoid). The key fob I replaced actually worked fine, only the outer shell was falling apart, so I took the original circuit board and put it in this new outer shell. Out of service and defective. This is a low quality, cheap keychain. The light only comes on for a brief second when the battery is about half empty and nothing happens at all. There will be no program. I think it's probably a bad or broken connection or something on the little circuit board in the trailer around the battery case and if it wasn't for that everything else would be fine but it still doesn't help me since I've spent money on it, and it is broken.
