Good quality on engine cooling and air conditioning

The part was well made and seemed to work well but not with my car. Would order from here again, just going to make sure to check the item better next time.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Compatibility

Works like a charm for parts

This was actually perfect for our 2010 Ford F-150. FX4 Possibly We tried others and had problems for a year but this worked great on our truck.

NOT SUITABLE for air conditioning

If you have a 2012 F150 with two automatic climate zones, this is not what you are looking for. The connectors on the resistor are too high up in the housing to connect to the resistor harness. Save yourself the hassle and just go to the parts store.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Fits F150 2014

The Autozone version of this Duralast product cost three times as much and did not work. Nobody stocked the Motorcraft version. Ford wanted over $120 just for the OEM part. This product was delivered within 24 hours and worked like clockwork. Installation took 2 minutes. Very happy!

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Upgrades

Blower performance is slightly different from previous

This part fixed my problem with the blower not working. My only complaint is that the low settings are still pretty high. Significantly higher than the standard resistance. Luckily I live in Florida and that's not a big problem. But sometimes I have to turn off the AC to stay warm while it was on a low setting before.

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

The minimum fan speed was too high. Malfunction?

Although this product "works", it does not allow the fan to run at a really low speed. This is on 2014 with EATC dual zone climate control. The lowest speed setting was "medium". I'm not sure if I got a defective unit or what, but I bought an original Motorcraft resistor and was able to get low speed. transactions, so this will be returned for a refund.

Pros
  • Practical thing
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Functional but not = OEM

While it technically "matches" my 2012 F150 FX4, the lowest fan speed is at level three in the OE part. As a result, you can't turn the heater/AC on the lowest setting to silently circulate the air so the car doesn't get stuffy. No, you turn it on and it BLOWS. Max top speed/airflow seems to be the same as the original. Overall functional but clearly miscalibrated for a specific vehicle. Next time I would spend $50 OEM instead of $30. Therefore.

Pros
  • Best in its niche
Cons
  • I don't have a huge dislike for it, it's fine

Fixed AC Blower stopped working - Error Code 29 16 and 29 17 from AC Console

The price was reasonable enough to attempt to replace the part as a diagnostic step on my 2011 Expedition (with automatic AC temperature control). I plugged it in and it worked straight away with the front AC fan. I can't confirm the quality or durability of the product but it works now. I will be ordering a replacement connector as the plastic has heat distortion which explains why others have replaced the connector AND the controller. By the way, no error codes were posted, so fixing it by…

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad
