Comfortable but not durable

Comfortable gloves. There is no such thing as longevity! After about 5 rides the velcro fell off the straps. Trip number 7 my right index finger tore a hole right through the tip of the glove. I do not recommend these gloves to anyone.

Pros
  • Great price
Cons
  • Insecure

Difficult to win in protective gear

I was able to use it for about 4 months, which is to be expected. Rides in the desert, I have no complaints as they've served a while and fit just right.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • A few small things

Excellent gloves with good protection

Excellent gloves with good protection. I ride them in the Sacramento summer heat when temperatures can soar into the 100s. They're also good in the fall through the mid-40s, depending on how cold your hands are. The only thing that could improve is the coating on the fingertips so I can use it with my smartphone without having to take it off.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly

Incredible durability/comfort.

UPDATE: I bought these four years ago. I ride several times a week. In the last 4 years they have held up incredibly well. Included are some photos of its current condition. The small touchscreen-sensitive tabs on my fingers are worn out, requiring me to remove my gloves to use the touchscreen on my Galaxy S9. The rubber Velcro straps are also torn in a few places, but still work perfectly. Besides, they were perfect. worth your money.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • I won't say anything

Size chart is incorrect

Size chart mismatch. I measured my hand and I always buy oversized gloves too. I needed at least one very large one. I tried putting on gloves but they hurt my thumbs and tore between my thumb and the rest of the glove when I first rode them. I'd like to think they would have lasted more than one ride had they been properly timed. It may not be that these gloves are really big, or the size that should be big. I don't think I will order a very large one. Thinks it's time to give up Fox. My lastโ€ฆ

cool gloves! in Protective Gear

I got the large size and had to give them to someone else because they were too big for me, but I liked these gloves so much I bought the small size and fit perfectly. I didn't pay attention to the size grid on them and this is necessary as I have female hands and these are male gloves. The color is such a bright red that I really like and the fingers fit perfectly. The thumb is slightly larger, which was rather odd, but I haven't noticed it mountain biking and don't see it as a problem. I'veโ€ฆ

the velcro has come loose. Very convenient.

Very comfortable gloves. The first day I put them on I rode my quad 120 miles. I usually get pain in the middle of my arm when I ride more than a few miles, I didn't do that with these gloves. They are just right for moderate weather. My hands didn't get warm. I was also able to use my touchscreen GPS with them but the screen is so small it was a bit of an issue. The gloves are not to blame. On the second day, after about 3 hours of driving, the velcro on the right glove came loose. To beโ€ฆ

Pros
  • High marks for grip and durability from testers
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

Good protection, great price.

I've had a set of these red ones for a few years. I recently realized that I was kidding and that due to the fading they were now pink rather than red. I took them as a spare and so far they fit me very well. I always thought full finger gloves didn't breathe well but someone convinced me to try them and I'm glad they did. When I put my hands on the bar, the headwind goes straight through and my hands actually feel cooler in them than in my original fingerless gloves. do you understand? Theโ€ฆ

Good old Dirtpaws. No problem with the size!

UBI graduate 2002, worked as builder/mechanic/store manager in several shops over the years. Quality at a decent price. I had an old pair of mud tines that I used as spares and for wet riding. I was concerned about the quality and fit based on the reviews but was pleasantly surprised. Not sure what others are saying, they run small as I have large hands and am concerned about the fit. My custom XL gloves still fit well so I took the plunge. XL is still XL. I double checked the Fox MTB gloveโ€ฆ
