Fixed 1997 Grand Cherokee Downpipe to Catalytic Converter Leak

I used this 1" wide band style exhaust clamp on my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 to fix a leaking connection at my downpipe to catalytic converter.When I cut off the old welded-on catalytic converter it also took about an inch of the downpipe off which forced me to slide the new converter farther forward than the old one had been. This made the converter kind of close to the first bend on the downpipe and regular exhaust D clamps weren't working. I also tried to use an expensive sleeve clamp…

DO NOT BUY! good for me

I bought 8 of these and the bolts snapped on 7 of them.There goes $60 down the drain!.SO ANGRY!.wish I could give them a negative star rating but this will have to do. You WILL NOT be able to seal your exhaust with these!

As good as OEM on my Jeep JK, at a much better price than MOPAR part.

Great quality, stainless steel, very similar to factory clamp on my Jeep JK from Y pipe to intermediate pipe and from intermediate pipe to muffler. I needed the 2.5" for my Jeep Y pipe. You can purchase what ever size you need. Just measure before you order, and make sure your selecting the right one.
