These worked on our ceiling for carnival cruise on elation. However they only hold light weight items like a bathing suit or lanyards

Tried to use these to hold Christmas lights (very lightweight) on metal rails but magnets kept sliding around and lights kept falling. Not strong or industrial strength as others are that I've ordered.

I bought these to hang student dry erase pockets on their desks. It’s first grade. They constantly take them apart to the point I put them all away after a week. It would be nice if they were one piece instead of two. They work fine but they need a different situation than mine.
