    Warm but not perfect

Fits fairly well but be aware it will be tighter than usual in your boot. Pretty warm. Due to the lack of stretch, it could fit a little better on the left and right foot rather than the either/or.

    Pros
    • No stretching for her, but that's ok. Keep your feet warm. Will buy more.
    Cons
    • Not versatile enough for everyday use.

Discreet use for boots or just at home in cold weather

Generally not bad as a liner in the trunk. Although it can be much warmer in colder temperatures. As a soft type of temporary deposit, everything is fine.

    Pros
    • My feet get cold easily. it helps a lot. Excellent purchase.
    Cons
    • Strange size and shape. The seams are reminiscent of walking on stones.

Large! : my rating for my opinion

I wear this with a silk lining (from REI), in boots with 200g Thinsulate. My feet sweat and I often catch colds. For me it was the perfect solution this winter.

    Pros
    • Thanks to this lining, my boots have become much warmer even in minus weather. They are not thick but work better than wool socks.
    Cons
    • $27 for overpriced socks... Trust Amazon reviews! To return!

    Versatility - my rating

Husband uses his hiking shoes for winter activities. Says they skied in Jackson and his skeet league in Virginia. I like how warm and fitted these socks are , nice thickness but not too bulky. Just wish that they were a little Cheaper..

    Pros
    • Love these warm and cozy socks, good thickness but not too bulky. I just wish they were a little cheaper.
    Cons
    • Can be difficult to put on or take off, especially with narrow boots.

Too tight in the calves, fits me

They were too tight at the top and couldn't give/stretch so I couldn't use them. They fit over my thick woolen socks on my feet, but I can't pull them down to my calves.

    Pros
    • Good
    Cons
    • Not as warm as I had hoped.

Just like a sock, not quite a "liner "

It's quite thin and sock-like, tried these on for hours outside today over my summer hiking socks with boots. Today is the first frosty day and I can't say they keep my feet warm. But maybe I don't expect more from a "liner". Like I said, just a fleece sock. Expensive for a pair of socks.

    Pros
    • They fit like a glove and are very warm.
    Cons
    • I ordered the largest size and they are not big enough for my height 12ft. They are incredibly slim. Well it's a joke

Dumb good - my new review

I didn't think these things were good. I was very skeptical until I put them on at home on a cold winter day. With love. I like you very much. I didn't wear them with boots, I didn't walk in them or anything, but everyday clothes in a cold basement or when fighting Russians is what you need!

    Pros
    • Great socks, keep your feet warm in the snow all day long! Holds the smell well so wash your feet.
    Cons
    • Lining could be a little bigger

    By calf and warmth

Love how warm they are, I usually wear them with calf high athletic socks when working outside all night in extremely cold temperatures. Only thing is they look more like crew than caviar. I wear men's 10 1/2 D and got the large, ordered the extra large and just received them today. I don't wear them every day but got them back in December and so far they are holding up very well. Wash and dry cold. I recommend them for very cold temperatures and for hot temperatures above freezing, but some…

    Pros
    • I liked it very much.
    Cons
    • May be too warm for mild or hot weather

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

I wish I had bought them sooner

Great for keeping your feet warm in a pair of boots (waterproof) or for keeping your feet warm at home on a cold Sunday while watching the game. I bought a second pair and then a pair for my wife.

    Pros
    • Fits good. Soft and warm. I used it to keep my feet warm in bed on a cold night!
    Cons
    • May not stay in place or fit properly in a shoe or boot, causing discomfort or blisters.

Warm and comfortable the best in my rating

I totally like. I serve in the army, so I wore wool socks with fleece socks when the weather was bad. My feet stayed warm. They were comfortable and not too bulky.

    Pros
    • heat in
    Cons
    • Sharp washing may cause shrinkage or deformation

    Boots are cool

I love boot insoles. Comfortable, fit well and keep my poor cold feet warm. I wish so much I had knee length with my tall hunting boots.

    Pros
    • Pleases
    Cons
    • Didn't do what was advertised

    Nothing for extreme cold

not suitable for severe frosts. Back to my tried and true method of keeping your feet warm in cold weather and working on a cold concrete slab. LaCross Iceman boots, high-quality outer socks made from 100% wool and thin nylon socks on the feet. With this combo you can fish with warm feet on ice all day long

    Pros
    • Long on the leg, short on the calf, but bearable. Good.
    Cons
    • Not suitable for people with large feet

    Revainrating 4 out of 5

    In severe frost (-30)

They work well in relatively cold weather, but when the temperature drops to extreme cold, you need more. But otherwise they work perfectly.

    Pros
    • Large
    Cons
    • May be uncomfortable for people with sensitive skin.

    Really works: my review

At first I hesitated. I have a large foot and checked the sizes listed and decided that XL fit me best. The first day in them my feet were very warm; however very impractical. On my second day in the field I had no complaints so I assume I wore them the wrong size and my boots got stuck in an empty space which led to complaints. So they fit well and kept me warm during a four day field trip in cold weather.

    Pros
    • Keep my feet warm!
    Cons
    • Plain fleece boots - ill-fitting toes, not thick enough and not elastic enough to feel comfortable in the boot.

    Late autumn socks for cycling

I wear them on the bike, they keep my feet warm but I have to take them off or they keep warm too, but that's because they insulate so well.

    Pros
    • Great for outdoor work!!
    Cons
    • in cold weather there was not much of a difference

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

No fleece is better than Polartec

I've been using Polartec for many years. They come in a variety of weights so you can layer them depending on your temperature and activity. Some of my Polartecs are still in great shape after 35 years of use. If you take care of him, he will take care of you!

    Pros
    • I have the 12th size. They were tight. They didn't stretch. The rest went well
    Cons
    • Limited color options

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

BEST for winter in the field

I had no idea how much they would help me sleep in cold weather. They change the rules of the game! Worth every penny and would highly recommend for camping, pitching or staying overnight in a very cold area. My feet don't sweat in them.

    Pros
    • Keep my feet nice and warm, don't sweat, nice product
    Cons
    • The left sock was completely damaged. Two large gaps were found. The package was also delivered late. Dissatisfied.

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

    Great fit. my judgement

Great fit and they feel very comfortable. Can't wait to see how they do this winter, how they felt when I tried them on, they will be very warm.

    Pros
    • Good and warm
    Cons
    • May not be strong enough to withstand heavy wear and tear

    Revainrating 5 out of 5

Rating changed from 1 star to 5

I didn't like them the first time I wore them for a few minutes. I wrote a quick 1 star review and the company immediately replied that they would refund my money and ask me to wear them again. You were right. Wearing them all day they fit my feet perfectly. I wear them every day throughout the winter and LOVE THEM. Excellent customer service to boot.

    Pros
    • My God! I love these socks. With diabetes my feet get cold easily and that helps a lot.
    Cons
    • May retain odors or accumulate moisture over time.
