📚 The Ultimate Guide to Self-Sufficiency: The Handbook for Achieving Independence Review

This is a great book. The book has a lot of information. I'm not a farmer, I just enjoy being a farmer, but I think this book is extremely helpful.

Alan Bridgewater, Gill Bridgewater's Guide to Self-Sufficiency - I wanted information on how to save money and help out in tough times to improve my lot, but it's not what I expected. I will not neglect the information in the book, as it will surely be useful to someone.

I bought this book as a self sufficiency inspiration, what I found was a book with lots of ideas but not enough content to even warrant a purchase. This book was written as an introduction to the basic concepts of life on the farm and off the grid. The topics covered are so limited that the book lacks the detail needed to implement the concepts. This book needs more technical information and should be about a hundred pages long to cover everything that is in the table of contents.

This is by no means a 'complete' guide! It gives you an overview, but you will never become independent with this book alone. There just isn't enough detail in any of the areas. For livestock you get about 2 pages, maybe 3, which doesn't provide enough information. If you're just interested in a few basic things, this might be an interesting read.
