I've tried various things to hold my phone but none of them worked as well as this one. Requires a little assembly but easy to assemble. Walks to the rear-view mirror with a firm grip. It also holds the phone in place well. I bought it to be able to look at my maps app. I really love it!

This is a great concept but warps with heat and becomes unusable. Of course I have a big phone but as you can see in the photo a few pieces of plastic have warped from the Georgia heat. The ratchet system on the top and bottom extensions is really good so they don't hold very tight either. Let me start by saying this is a really good mount. It's good quality and strong. BUT it doesn't work in my car. Requires a flat-back rear view mirror for secure installation. Mine had a slightly rounded back, so it's unreliable and keeps falling off. I wish I had thrown the box away otherwise I would have sent it back in a different style. I like this idea. I live in Vegas so suction cup mounts just don't work here. They either melt on the glass or don't stick well to the dashboard. I have to…
