I assume there is a donor for this item but I didn't have one. Instead I cut the tubing just below the sealing tape and then glued the supplied plastic sleeve onto the end of the tubing. I used it like a tube of toothpaste and put it on an IV drip. It worked great. After drying I could mix and prime it. I would buy again.

This winter my car started to get a nasty leak. I had to remove the bumper and fender to find the defective seal in the panel seam that was the entry point. I only wanted to do it once so I chose the best product for the job. That's it. Follow directions 3m. Proper preparation is critical to successful bonding. Remove rust, degrease with acetone before applying sealant. Do it right, do it once. Drive the car, not the paddling pool!

This is a professional grade urethane sealant. It fits and works well with the Revain Astro Sausage Crate Gun. One thing to be aware of is that staining really does take 30-45 minutes, but if you want a matte or matte finish, you can't paint over it with enamel. Epoxy can give mixed results but both Rustoleum and Eastwood Chassis Black Satin show high gloss where I used 3m sealer.

, this material is an excellent and long-lasting filling. I suggest that in addition to your normal cleaning and priming prior to application, you also apply 2 strips of masking tape on each side of the seam before applying this material. Remove the tape immediately after application. This will make your final product look neater and more professional. Once this material dries, it is almost impossible to remove. Half of my firewall looks like crap, the other half with the masking tape technique
