Description of 3M Clear Super Silicone Sealant, 3 oz, 08661

Rapid-curing clear silicone seal offers excellent adhesion. Sealant cures to a tough, rubbery solid when exposed to moisture in the air. Versatility allows for use throughout an automobile. Product effectively bonds to a variety of materials, including clean metal, glass, wood, ceramic, natural and synthetic fiber, painted surfaces and many plastics. Adhesive properties offer high resistance to weathering, vibration, moisture, ozone, and extreme temperatures. For industrial/occupational use only. Not for consumer sale or use.

In the end the tube burst!

I expect more from 3M! Poor consistency, does not flow well from hopper. My project turned into a complete mess and I had to quit my job. Would not recommend this product.

I usually like 3M products a lot.

ASI 388 Silicone adheres better to galvanized steel, aluminum, anodized aluminum and acrylic. I usually like 3M products a lot.

Fixed Windshield Whistle on Honda Element

Holds on for now. Used this to attach the windshield whistle to a Honda Element. This is exactly the product the dealer is using / what is recommended in the TSB for a given year's Honda Elements.
