I'm going to class and this guy on my right is always looking at my screen which is a bit annoying but the girl on my left is looking at THIS on my screen from time to time. IN ORDER TO BE USEFUL FOR BOTH I decided to buy this screen so both would not be distracted by what's on my screen, even if it was just notes, but. IT IS HUMAN NATURE TO WATCH TV LOL!

I like the installation of glue instead of plastic tabs. It looks a lot cleaner and you can almost forget the screen is there. Functionally, the privacy lock is ok, but not outstanding. It might just be me, but blocking is much faster on the right than on the left (gold side out). That is, if I sat in the middle seat on the plane, the passenger on the right would see the gold screen, but the passenger on the left could see my spreadsheet/presentation quite effectively. This is on an 11" Macbook

Works very well as advertised. I would recommend using this over regular black screen protectors simply for the 'cool' factor. It dims your screen a few notches (obviously), but this is solved simply by increasing the brightness of my screen. Clarity is excellent provided you take care to thoroughly clean the screen prior to installation. I chose to install this screen protected with the transparent tape that came in the package. I ordered this for my MacBook Air 11 hoping it would fit perfectly. This is happening in a way I didn't expect. The film is exactly the size of my screen within the bevel. The 3M logo on the upper right edge and the supplied transparent adhesive strips bother the display a bit. I want the foil to be stuck on the outside of the screen. So, depending on how you define a fit, you could say it fits too small or fits snugly. It's too small for me. The viewing angle is wider than I prefer.

Easy to put on so you can take it on and off as you please. Keep a plastic bag and thick plastic wrap in your briefcase or backpack. Ideal for meetings when you need privacy for your work. Be careful when unpacking and holding the small plastic retaining tabs that you place on the left and right of your computer screen to make it easier to attach and detach the privacy filter.

Extremely difficult to put on due to static electricity; and does not stick to the surface of the screen evenly, so random stains will stick to the screen but not to other parts. . .leaves a kind of camouflage pattern on the screen surface. It doesn't work as advertised in brightly lit rooms. Also, the privacy filter shows red on the page that should be golden. There is embossed lettering around the edges, which interferes with the menu bar. The dock interfered with flipping.
