Of the 3 bands I ordered, 2 were like this.

Of the 3 bands I ordered, 2 were so moldy they couldn't be used. Literally black mold covered the straps and the inside of the covers. They were so old that the cardboard sleeves stuck to the ties and you had to tear the ties off their sleeves with a knife. Completely useless. Must send back.

Pros
  • Nice to use
Cons
  • Unreliable

Cassettes turned out to be defective

This was my second (and last) return of defective Sony cassettes. I turned to Sony when Maxell started making cheap VHS tapes. I was happy with this change until recently when I had to return my last two Sony orders. No company seems to make good VH tapes

No company seems to make good VH tapes. I had high hopes for a big name like Sony, but some of their tapes break very quickly. Paying for bands isn't cheap these days. Recording on a VHS tape is very easy. I hate when this burning method disappears because using a DVD is a hassle. Now it seems like they are all just making junk right now and charging you a very high price.

Pros
  • blank video media
Cons
  • boring packaging

Ribbons defective

These ribbons are of very poor quality. I tried using two of them. Unfortunately they got stuck in my VCR. I ended up throwing one away, didn't think about returning it. Definitely a waste of my money. There's one left that I'm afraid to even use at the moment! Maybe they are just too old? Very disappointed. :-(, I bought these tapes from another seller in March but they were excellent! I tried to make a separate review but I was only allowed to make one as they are the same brand.
