The portion size is fine, it is easy to clean in dishwasher, however the cover got deformation from dishwasher after one month of daily use. I can still continue using the box but the leak proof is affected and I need to put high pressure on cover sides to close the box after the deformation (a first grade child will be not able to close the box as gentle pressure is not enough ). Also the box is relatively heavy compared to identical product, may be it was designed in mind to preserve food…

They do not leak! They hold enough food to tide two teenagers over until they get home. I put the lids in the dishwasher and was concerned over time, they would become misshapen. I hand wash the lids. They come with a small case and ice pack. The boys report they keep the food cold until lunch.

I use this for snacks for my 1 year old grandbaby. Love how you have food separate and it doesn't mix together when shook up or turned upside down.

My kid absolutely loves this bento box for his school lunches. The best feature is that all three compartments stay separate and don't mix no matter how much he tosses it around. Just got my Kinsho bento box and I love it. It holds just enough food for me so I can't overdo it on the amount that I can eat. This will help ppl loose weight by not letting the eater stuff too much in it. Also love that it's air and water tight. It's perfect for work cause I have a very sensitive stomach and this only allows a certain amount of food to be put in the bento box. I have lost about 5lbs since I started using this bento box for lunch at work.

As a mother of a teenager it's hard to find a lunch box that doesn't embarrass them. I never knew a lunch box could destroy the image of a teen but here we are. So out of the thousands of lunch boxes on this site this lunch box was approved as a embarrass free idem. And the kids at school no longer ostracize her and has accepted her as one of the cool kids. Thank goodness I found this lunch box.

This might be a good product, but definitely not for small kids.1. cap is not easy to seal. As a adult, I can force the cap to seal, but my kindergarten daughter can't always do it.2. portion is too big for kids' school lunch3. cap is not clean to clean, and not dishwasher safeReturn it already.

I ordered 2 of them and use them every weekday to send lunch for kids. Only hand wsahed the lids as instructedbut couple of weeks ago i noticed one corner of the lid cracked. 2 days ago, it broke and became unusable.

Food stays fresh and separated even when being carried in kids lunchbag at school. The seal gets a little tough to close after many uses and washes.

I almost returned it for leaking, until I found out that it need a special trick for leakproof. Push the center part of the lid down, so that the rubber is in the track. Otherwise, when you just close and snap the four snaps, they only put the edge part of the rubber in the track, not the center part, which will cause leaking! Once you do that, it is leakproof every time beautifully! I spent a weekend training my 5 year old to close and open it correctly. Yes, it is a little tricky to open too,

I thought it might help me eat less. It didn't. But, it is a nice, well constructed little box. I just have no use for it now.
