Don't let the picture fool you! Zero Stars

These pins are bonded together on a single ribbon. If you don't send them back like I did, you'll have to cut them before you can crimp them.

Pros
  • 1189 Series, Socket and Plug with Tin (Sn) Plated Brass Contact, 14-20 AWG
Cons
  • Don't Remember

False advertising! in clamps

False advertising, they are listed and illustrated on the tape attached at the end! I attached the pins in the middle which makes it difficult to cut them to the right size to fit the body! I didn't come back because I had to finish my project! I don't order anymore!

Pros
  • core insulation diameter 1.65-4.06 mm
Cons
  • concise instructions

Bad design, bad production, very bad product!

Bought to remake a Molex connector. I removed the old pins and took a string of new pins. I noticed these weird connections between the pins and just assumed they would break at the pin and I could insert the wire and crimp. No chance. The breaking point is between non-standard connections, and the main part (see photo) remains on the pin. I tried snapping off the wing (they don't fit the connector in this shape) by grabbing with pliers but they bent but didn't break. I took a few overlays and…

Pros
  • Tape wrapped
Cons
  • Expensive
