Ideal for sunsets with filters and accessories.

I've recently started using ND filters and have had good results with them; Sunsets are a prime example of using a neutral density filter. You can keep the ISO low for long exposures to reduce flare and backlight, making the photo more beautiful. Unlike the first filter I bought, the lens cap fits well. Lens cap cannot be used. Great filter! I will buy it again for other lenses in the future.

    Cheap and works great!

I can't hood this filter. Given the price, that's not a problem and I won't be using a lens hood with a filter very often, but it would be nice to have the option. Not sure if the filter or hood design flaw is to blame. It was cheap and pretty harsh compared to some of my more expensive filters. Of course there's a problem with X at the other end of the range, but I don't plan on using it. For this I have another adjustable filter. It's cheap and if I need another one this size I'll most likely

    • VARIABLE FILTER: Adjustable from ND2 to ND400. ND2 blocked 1 stop light - ND4 2 stop - ND8 3 stop - ND16 4 stop - ND32 5 stop - ND64 6 stop - ND128 7 stop - ND256 8 stop - ND400 9 stop.

    • Out of fashion

When trying to take photos with the Sony 35mm f/1.8 APS-C lens, I had an issue where it wasn't working properly because the scene was too bright was. I was able to close fstop, but I needed a shallow depth of field. I need a neutral density filter. Choosing a variable neutral density filter is not easy. It seems to me that all "variable" filters have problems, and as quality requirements increase, people tend to switch from variable to fixed filters. But that can get pretty expensive. So the…
