Dead on Arrival Satellite TV Gear

Came across and paid a premium for this splitter based on reviews. This one was dead from the start and I returned it the same day after finding a cheaper one locally.

Pros
  • Nice Packaging
Cons
  • Not Everything Fits

Helps to connect and manage cables.

We had 3 TV monitors and an LCD projector to show from our computer setup. This solved our connection problem due to HDMI outputs to the computer and cabling issues. We use 3 weeks, no problems.

Pros
  • beautiful thing
Cons
  • fading

Everything runs smoothly, there are no noticeable delays.

There is so much electronics these days. This device makes it easy to work with these devices. This is a great solution if you're migrating from HDMI to DVI, for example, or maybe using an AV receiver as an HDMI switcher, or just don't want to switch to component cables for your video like DirecTV. You would think this is an acceptable solution. Would definitely buy this again for other split needs in the future although I was unfamiliar with ARISEN prior to this purchase.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Nothing here

This thing works great

I've always wanted to have an input for all my TVs in my house. This device allows me to do that. I use Chromecast Ultra to cast video to 4 different TVs. A few tidbits, it lowers the quality to the lowest connected device. So if you have 4 TVs, 3 of which are 4k and 1 of which is only HD (1080p) then it will play in 1080p on all devices. But if they are only connected to 4k HDR TVs, 4k HDR will play fine. Even Dolby Vision. But my Chromecast Ultra has problems with 5.1 channel Dolby audio…

  • Free for educational purposes

Forget 30Hz, farewell to stubbornness

How big is the difference between 4K at 30Hz and 60Hz? My first 4k TV used as a computer monitor was limited to 30Hz due to a limitation in HDMI 1.4. As long as the image was static, everything was fine. But in 2013 I'm used to everything happening instantly (it was an upgrade from a dual 30-inch Dell with a resolution of 2560 x 1600 pixels and about the same pixel size). It wasn't so at 30Hz... Note: In 1989 I bought a 15 inch 1024x768 30Hz monitor which was great/fantastic for its time…

Pros
  • Hands-free calling
Cons
  • Very expensive
