Best value for money

I really liked how this item worked. This created a bubble that burst on what I needed for my fracture lines. I tried two other tools that created either a flat highlight (no bubbles) or a half highlight (close but not full). I highly recommend this tool as the highlights it creates were perfect every time and worked 100% for my application.

Great talent made under difficult conditions.

matrices are small and difficult to understand. But once I figured out my process, making perfect double talents was easy. I was working under a 25 foot boat and a trailer that was on jack stands so my work space was limited. Use a good, sharp pipe cutter for clean square cuts and don't forget to oil the tool surfaces. I like this tool very much.

Pros
  • cool product
Cons

Easy to use 3/16 line flare tool

I liked the ease of use of this tool. I also liked that you only need a wrench and the tube slides right to where you need to block it and start flaring. The only problem I have is; I had a #1 cube that creates a "bubble" before you inflate it in the magnet holder, somehow the cube got knocked off during work and I didn't notice. I went back to spawn another flare but the first cube I needed was missing. Unfortunately I never found it.

Pros
  • Worth the money
Cons
  • Some minor things

The best flare tool I've ever used.

I was a bit skeptical about this tool but the reviews convinced me to try it. I'm building a tube frame VW buggy and I'm installing disc brakes all around and I had to drive all the new hard and soft lines and opted for copper-nickel tubing. Being a conglomerate of parts I need both bubble and double highlights and let me tell you this tool is reliable, easy to use and produces absolutely perfect highlights every time. Me, like you, as far as I know there is only one type of flare tool. It's…
