I was a bit skeptical about this tool but the reviews convinced me to try it. I'm building a tube frame VW buggy and I'm installing disc brakes all around and I had to drive all the new hard and soft lines and opted for copper-nickel tubing. Being a conglomerate of parts I need both bubble and double highlights and let me tell you this tool is reliable, easy to use and produces absolutely perfect highlights every time. Me, like you, as far as I know there is only one type of flare tool. It's been the standard for over 50 years and I still have it, but this tool is way better. I strongly recommend you to buy this tool. It's quick, easy and the result is excellent every time. Do it!
