Great weight bag for canopy

The product is exactly as described. It holds a significant amount of water that acts as a weight to hold the canopy. It's great for outdoor camping or the beach. You can use the water for washing and with the right kind of filtering device to get drinkable water. This water weight is more versatile than a sandbag. It is very easy to secure with velcro.

Pros
  • Weight bag deflates for easy storage.
Cons
  • They can damage the legs of the canopy over time

They leak! Don’t work at all.

Out of the four I purchased, two of them had a slow leak, causing all the water to drain out and the carport they were securing to blow over and scratch my car. These things are crap.

Pros
  • Canopies
Cons
  • They are not suitable for use on soft or uneven ground

Cons
  • They are not suitable for long-term outdoor use

Seal on the top has holes.

I don't bother leaving reviews most of the time. Don't order this product. The seal on the top is so thin it had multiple leaks. Useless.

Pros
  • Sturdy and heavy enough to hold my 10 x 10 gazebo to patio without having to anchor to my pavers.
Cons
  • They are cumbersome to fill and empty

Great for our tents

These weights work great at holding down our tents. Make sure you tie the rope to the top of the tent pole. Make sure you have access to water before using.

Pros
  • Like the ease of use.
Cons
  • the straps ripped off and the tent blew away. They were full but failed to hold down the tent.

Great portable weights - no leaks

Love these! I purchased them for a wedding where we had to weigh down a few different things (donut wall, photo backdrop, arch). We had to haul so much stuff to the venue that I wanted these light-weight collapsible weights that could be filled at the venue. Worked perfectly and didn’t leak! Filled on site and used as expected. Happy to have these for our canopy on the beach too. Definitely recommend.

Pros
  • To anchor down on tent canopy in our backyard.
Cons
  • The bags are too small, and they do not provide enough weight to keep the canopy upright

Good for Telescope tripods

Good for Telescope tripods; when you don't want a little bump to mess up your alignment. This a pretty good amount of downward weight.

Pros
  • Anavim Water Weight Bag (Set of 4 Weight Bags) for Any Canopy or Tent.
Cons
  • The bags can affect the stability of nearby objects

Held me down baby for my opinion

Loved them! Easy to fill. No leaking. Easy to apply to my canopy. Used with my 10 lb weights. Felt very secure . Haven’t really been put to the rest as far as high winds but we will see. Will update when I do.

Pros
  • Patio Furniture & Accessories
Cons
  • The bags require additional hardware to attach them to the canopy

Centerpiece - Holds up our awning legs

We purchased a four pack of these and filled them with water to hold up our trailer awning. They work very well, even when we had 30-40 MPH winds. We also had to put one of the supports on the table, so this became a centerpiece for dinner.

Pros
  • Easy to fill and drain. Perfect for holding down canopy.
Cons
  • Pricey!! Hope they last!!

Did not leak! best in my review

These were used to anchor an ez up tent for an art show. They are compact and did the trick, they also did not leak in the car!

Pros
  • Nice alternative to sand bags. Easy to fill with water.
Cons
  • The bags are difficult to clean and can develop mold or bacteria

Bought to hold down aluminum framed 10 x 10 backyard gazebo. Bought two sets. 8 for 8, no issues and no leaks after 2 weeks and some seriously windy days. Hasn't budged an inch. Very satisfied with look and quality.

Pros
  • Ideal for a wide range of outdoor activities and events, from weddings and parties to picnics and camping trips
Cons
  • The bags require additional storage and transportation considerations

ABSOLUTELY AMAZING! MUST BUY

I NEVER leave reviews but these were ABSOLUTELY WORTH EVERY PENNY mind u they were so inexpensive!I bought a very cheap canopy and if I didn't I have these it would have snapped in half. It was a very windy day, I put (2) 2liters n each of the pouches and worked AMAZING!

Pros
  • Suitable for both indoor and outdoor use, with a waterproof and weather-resistant design
Cons
  • The bags can get dirty easily and require frequent cleaning

Great substitute for sand weights

We love these weights. We use them for our lightweight gazebo. We have not been disappointed yet even with the storms we’ve been having the weights hold everything in place

Pros
  • Is so great and strong it keep my furniture not move in strong wind .Great product 😊
Cons
  • The bags can easily be blown away in strong winds

Good water bags, better than sand bags.

I think they are fine for any place where there isn't much wind. But I used actual sand bags in Virginia Beach while on vacation (two per leg), and not even that was enough to hold it down. Better than nothing though, much better. It will probably be just fine as long as you use your guy ropes.

Pros
  • Made using eco-friendly materials, with a low carbon footprint and minimal environmental impact
Cons
  • The bags require filling, which adds time to setting up the canopy

These work great, however…

In the past, whenever the wind blew, which happens a lot, our outdoor swing would just fall over. Once we put these weights on, the next time the wind blew, the swing did not budge, instead the wind ripped the canopy off.Something to keep in mind.

Pros
  • Works well for canopy. Have not tried it in crazy weather yet. But great on a windy day.
Cons
  • Therefore useless

Gust Damage Prevention?

Bought a set of these after my 13’ X 13’ Coleman canopy was slightly wind damaged in a strong gust. Haven’t used them yet but I did fill them with water to verify they don’t leak and and left them outside for almost a week with no leakage. They seem well constructed of a heavy gauge but flexible polymer kind of plastic with a reasonably large screw in cap, three webbed 1” straps that are pattern sewn onto reinforced areas on the side of the bag, and a built in substantial plastic carry handle…

Pros
  • Helped save my canopy from flying away during a storm ! Definitely recommend this item.
Cons
  • The bags are too expensive for their quality and functionality

Great quality. - my new review

I ordered the 'Anavim Canopy Water Weights Bag, Leg Weights for Pop up Canopy 4pcs-Pack Black' for review and would like to share my thoughts.I ordered these to go with a new canopy tent I have. The canopy tent came with weight bags that allow you to fill them with rocks or sand, although the fill slots are not very big. The original ones seemed to work OK, but I felt that I should get something a little better that would hold more weight and be a bit more sturdy. These have definitely filled…

Pros
  • Specially designed straps will ensure that the Weight Bags stay securely attached to your Instant Canopy or Pop Up Shelter legs or upper trusses.
Cons
  • They do not improve the appearance of the canopy

Great for windy days.

These anchors are wonderful. They solve the problem of the blow away sun shade. I’ve fought with my sun shade on several windy days and it’s a pain in the butt. These anchors are very simple and effective. Velcro straps secure them to each leg and they provide enough weight to hold the sun shade in place. Very effective.

Pros
  • Working well seems stable easy to fill
Cons
  • The weight distribution is uneven, which creates instability in windy conditions

Great Weights For RVers

Love these weights, use them on our Clam pop up gazebo. We work on oilfields and many of the locations are too rocky to use stakes. So far these have worked perfect, even in 25mph wind. I was a little worried about leaking but so far no issues. I make sure not to over tighten the cap. The set of 4 is over 80lbs of weight when filled, but the best part is that when we travel in the rv I just pour out the water and they don't add any weight to our fifthwheel.

Pros
  • Quick and easy to store, with a compact and space-saving design that won't take up too much room
Cons
  • The bags can damage surfaces they come into contact with

One of the bags have a hole in it

check them out immediately we did not use ours until almost a month after purchasing them and 1 has a hole in the seem. Thanks for attention.

Pros
  • Highly customizable, with the ability to add or remove bags as needed to achieve your desired level of stability
Cons
  • They can obstruct the view of the canopy, affecting visibility
