Buy this for 4Runner

I tried another brand of Revain that said it would fit a 2004 4Runner. No! The blade did not fully touch the window. This wiper completely wipes the window as it should.

Not bad but not great.

Easy to set up and use, but definitely not the quality of my original. Feels thinner and a bit flimsy. I saved some money but I'm sure I'll have to replace it again soon.

Works well. suitable for wiper sets

I had to use a new wiper on the old lever. The new arm has no teeth. The car is 12 years old. I didn't want to risk breaking anything by pulling the new lever down with the mounting nut to cut the teeth in the new lever.

Requires special tools for installation

It wasn't until I read the instructions that I realized there was a special tool needed to install the mount. This tool costs almost as much as a hand and a blade. Aggravating. I can't say anything about the value and quality as it hasn't been installed yet.

Replaced a broken rear wiper on my 2004 4Runner with no problems

And that says it all. I had to put some WD-40 on my old arm and wiggle it back and forth a little while tugging to get it loose from the mount, but that was the only tricky part. The hand fits perfectly in this hook when resting. It seems constructed well enough that you can't beat the price.

Mounting nut not included, cheap at dealer

Overall I can't tell this arm apart from the original wiper arm that is on my buddy's 4Runner. The only thing I didn't like was that it didn't come with a mounting nut. Mine was rusty so I had to cut it off to completely remove the old wiper arm. After a short trip to the dealer and $3 later I got the mounting nut and installed the wiper assembly in under 5 minutes.

Better than the old

This replacement is better than the old one but not as good quality as the OEM. But the price is acceptable. The plastic cap that fits over the mounting nut doesn't really match the lever in terms of fit and finish. It seems pretty light weight so I hope it lasts a long time. As they say, time will tell. Regardless of this product, the old lever broke when trying to remove it. I got to the exposed thread insert which was badly rusted. Even with the wiper/battery terminal puller, I had to use a…
