Received a defective buckle due to incorrect double buckle placement (reverse stitching). I called the company and they resolved the issue with minimal inconvenience on my part. It is better to order one size larger so that the end of the belt does not dangle between the loops. Overall good belt!

When I received this belt I was impressed with the quality of the buckle. The tape material itself is very durable. Then I saw the belt was XL and I didn't remember ordering XL. Find out what I didn't do as there is no way to order a specific size on eBay. I'm an average height person and I'm not happy with the many belts I have to hide. This is the first and hopefully last time I'll be disappointed with a 5.11 purchase.

I ordered this belt after returning a much heavier and thicker one from another manufacturer. I am very satisfied with this one because it is very stable, smartly constructed and doesn't look so military. I intended it for hiking and it seems perfect for that.

Since my old leather belt got on my nerves over time (either too wide or too tight), I decided to try something different on my butt. :)

According to the manufacturer's size chart, I needed XL. The belt now goes to the side of my hips otherwise I'm a size 32. the belt is well made and very robust. you look at it and then you want to tighten this width with a little bit of fumbling, but you never manage to do it due to the design. He's always getting a little further. Hope that goes away with time, maybe it will soften up. Previous solution: pull much tighter, then close. Therefore 4 stars.

This was a gift for my husband who loves his 511 tactical pants and was very disappointed when he put the belt on for the first time and found the buckle was sewn on the wrong way round. In order for him to wear the belt properly, he must wear it inside out. All tags (size etc) are on the outside to ensure the belt attaches properly.

Unrivaled in quality. Not cheap Chinese junk that frays. I've had the previous model for years and, apart from signs of wear, it's still fully usable. Only to be recommended.

Simple, effective and powerful. Not that you will need it, but I think this belt will support your weight. Many of the 5.11 harnesses have bulky buckles that are large and protrude heavily. This one is very flat when buttoned up, great product!

Not to be confused with heavier double gauge belts with metal buckles, this one is lightweight, with a life jacket style buckle that is difficult to tighten and protrudes from the waist. Not happy with it and he comes back.

In the waist I usually wear size 28, here 28-30 stands for small. It's very short, if I was a size 30 I wouldn't be able to use it. But for a waist size of 28 it's just enough.

I bought this belt to use as a concealed carry belt. Unfortunately, I didn't even put on the belt. It's nowhere near stiff enough to support the weight of a gun. It has the same rigidity as the seat belt. If you are looking for the right concealed carry belt, this is NOT the belt for you.

This is a nylon and aluminum. Works great. After more than a year of daily use, the melted edge of the nylon has peeled off, but it's still working.

I really like the color of this sandstone belt, but would like to buy a large one (I bought a medium one). There just isn't a lot of extra tongue length to pull on to get a really snug fit. I had to check the assembly instructions. Just note that these belts offer no more excess length than your waist measurement. The belt is also quite flexible. If you are looking for something stiff in the longitudinal or cross section, this is not the belt.
