Three stars only because these cables are really too short for most applications. I swapped out a socket in a light fitting to convert from a halogen to an LED bulb and the socket matched exactly (mounting holes etc) but because the wires were so short I couldn't connect it to a standard electrical outlet and had to add braids. The wires should be about 2 inches longer.

hard to find in hardware stores. We had several outlets in our house that failed: one day, for reasons unknown, they just stopped conducting electricity - maybe some kind of internal corrosion? Either way, these replacement bulbs work well for our two-pin LED and halogen bulbs. My problem is that they use very small gauge wire, no more than 22 AWG as far as I can tell. I hate when a $0.50 part ruins an expensive fixture. This/these were perfect for my renovation. I have track lights above my work area and each light on the track is set to illuminate a specific area. When the ONE failed because of a bad mount, I refused to give up the whole world.
