Great product but recommend warning label for the ignorant

Great value for $ and was easy to install. Only wish it had a warning plastered somewhere "use of led bulb might cause hyper flashing”. Apparently Dodge forces u to use incandescent or add resistors but that isn’t your fault, thanks for a great product!

Pros
  • Used these to cover recessed lights on our front porch where wasps were making nests.
Cons
  • The covers are not universal fit, causing difficulties in finding the right size for specific fixtures

YOU WILL NOT BE SORRY!

These are absolutely one of the best things we have bought for our outdoor porches! We have lived in our house for 16 years and were always tormented by wasps heading to their nests in our recessed lights! We also made sure we installed them when it was still freezing outside so we could clean all the wasp nests out safely. The covers also look very nice once installed which is a plus!

Pros
  • Easy install, should work well. Wasps certainly won't fit through the slots.
Cons
  • The use of a cover could trap excess heat inside the fixture, causing the bulb and wiring to break down faster

Little bugs still get in.

Alot of little bugs are getting into it and dying in it.Got it for mice, though, and it should work for that. Thanks for attention.

  • These were easy to install and are a nice clear color so lights shine through brightly! Love them!
Cons
  • The product is not adjustable, and the design is limited to certain types of lighting fixtures

Work perfect, just don't need so many

This worked perfectly. We used these as we built a treehouse in our basement and we needed something to cover our recessed light to keep little fingers out. My only issue is I wish they came in smaller packs. I literally only needed one and now I have 9 more just sitting around.

Great Product best in my review

These covers are the best! We used them to cover can lights to keep bugs and wasps from getting in. A definite winner! Thank you to the makers of this product.

Also good for security

It occurred to me that another issue to address is the person who comes to your door and removes the light and then you are opening to a dark porch. That's the reason for me choosing this product. It was easy to install and will deter anyone who might planning to tamper with the light.

  • The product may end up being an eyesore when installed on architecturally designed ceilings
