These are absolutely one of the best things we have bought for our outdoor porches! We have lived in our house for 16 years and were always tormented by wasps heading to their nests in our recessed lights! We also made sure we installed them when it was still freezing outside so we could clean all the wasp nests out safely.
The covers also look very nice once installed which is a plus!
- Easy install, should work well. Wasps certainly won't fit through the slots.
- The use of a cover could trap excess heat inside the fixture, causing the bulb and wiring to break down faster
